Before connecting the mains supply:
1. Clean the roast chamber:
Clean the interior of the roasting chamber with a soft
cloth. Check for any remnant packing material.
2. Set the supply voltage:
With the roaster unplugged, hold down the appropriate
weight button:
for 220 volt,
for 230 volt,
for 240 volt,
then connect the supply. The display will show the set
voltage. Press Start to save the voltage setting
You won't need to do this again unless your supply voltage changes.
3. Perform a dry burn (first time):
Without putting beans in the roaster,
press then . Allow the roaster to run
through the entire cycle, which will take a total of 22
minutes - 12 minutes of heating followed by 10 minutes
of cooling will count down in the display.
