DMX Connection terminal device (Loop connection)
During the installation process, if the signal line is laid a long distance, or in a noisy environment, such as a dance hall, it is recommended
to use a DMX terminal (loop connection). This can reduce any interference to the digital control signal by electrical noise.
The DMX terminator consists of a simple XLR connector with pin 2 and 3 connected to a 120 Ω resistor. Please insert the terminal into the
XLR output port of the last device. Refer to the following picture:
The device can be controlled in the following ways:
1. Master/slave
2. DMX control
Master/slave control
Master/Slave, automatic setting
1. Connect the device(s) with DMX cable.
2. Master/slave mode will be automatically activated.
Master/Slave, manual setting
1. Connect the device(s) with DMX cable.
2. Set the rst light to be the Master, or choose the mode or the mode as the master mode.
3. Press ENTER to save.
4. Set the other lights to (slave mode).
5. Press ENTER to save.
DMX Control
To use a DMX controller to control the device, you must rst set the DMX address code. The address code range is
In this way the device can receive the DMX signals.
1. Press the MENU button, select the Menu option.
2. Press ENTER button. The address code will ash. Use UP/DOWN to select DMX address code. Our factory value is set to .
3. After the address code is set, hold the ENTER button.
4. Connect from the output of the DMX console to the DMX input of the rst device, and connect the DMX output of the rst device
to the DMX input of the second device, and so on. Connect all the devices.
