2. CONTROL ELEMENTS
2.1 Input section
The IN LEVEL control adjusts the level of the input signal.
The OVERLOAD LED (below the control) illuminates when
the signal level is too high. Adjust the input signal level so
that the LED does not illuminate. Occasional illumination
during signal peaks is acceptable.
The DISPLAY indicates the BPM (Beats Per Minute) of the
music as detected by the built-in beat counter. If you
select an effect by pressing the ENCODER or operate
the sampler PITCH control , the effect type will be
displayed (DLy, FLg, FLt, PIt). If you have selected the
SCRATCH effect (see ch. 2.3.4 SCRATCH) and you
turn the MIX control SCr will be displayed. If you
adjust the filter sensitivity in AUTO mode (see ch. 2.3.1
Filter), SEn will be displayed. If no additional changes
are made, the display shows the BPM value again after a
few seconds.
