Function Description

The Beko Dishwasher is designed for domestic use, specifically for washing household dishes. Usage Features

  • On/Off Key: Powers the machine on and off, defaulting to the Eco program when turned on.
  • Programme Selection / Programme Cancel Key: Allows selection of desired washing programs and cancellation of a running program by holding for 3 seconds.
  • Function Keys: Activates auxiliary functions (Hygiene Intense, Fast+) if supported by the selected program. Indicators flash when active.
  • Delayed Start Key: Delays the start of a program up to 9 hours in 3-hour increments.
  • Salt Indicator (S): Illuminates when the salt reservoir needs refilling.
  • Rinse Aid Indicator (*): Illuminates when the rinse aid reservoir needs refilling.
  • Water Cut-off Warning: Flashes if mains water supply is interrupted.
  • Water Overflow Warning (P1 Flashes): Flashes if the machine intakes too much water or has a leak.
  • Water Softening System Adjustment: Allows users to adjust the water hardness level (0-5) based on supply water hardness, using a test strip and control panel settings.

Maintenance Features

  • General Cleaning: Unplug the product and turn off the tap before cleaning. Do not use abrasive substances.
  • Outer Surface Cleaning: Wipe gently with a mild cleaning material and damp cloth. Control panel should be wiped with a slightly damp cloth.
  • Interior Cleaning: Run a program with or without detergent. If water remains, drain it by cancelling a program or removing and cleaning filters.
  • Filter Cleaning: Clean filters at least once a week. Remove micro filter, coarse filter, and metal/plastic filter, then clean under running water with a brush. Ensure proper reassembly.
  • Hose Filter Cleaning (model dependent): Regularly check and clean the filter attached to the water inlet hose to prevent damage from impurities. Turn off the tap, remove the hose, clean the filter, and reinstall.
  • Impeller Cleaning: Clean impellers at least once a week. Check for clogged holes. Lower impeller can be pulled up; upper impeller requires turning its nut to the left for removal. Ensure nuts are tightened well upon reinstallation.
  • Troubleshooting Guide: Provides solutions for common issues such as the machine not starting, dishes not being clean or dry, unpleasant odors, rust/discoloration, detergent residue, scratched dishes, and foam formation. It advises consulting an authorized service agent if problems persist.
