What to do if my Beko BFL853ADW Washer loading door cannot be opened?
    • J
      John GuerreroAug 19, 2025
The loading door may not open due to several reasons. The door lock might be activated because of the water level; drain the water by running the Pump or Spin programme. If the washer is heating water or spinning, wait until the programme finishes. The door might also be stuck due to pressure; try pushing and pulling the door to release it. In case of a power outage, open the pump filter cap and pull down the emergency handle located behind the cap.

Why is my Beko Washer washing performance poor and laundry turns gray?
    • B
      Brandi WigginsAug 28, 2025
Graying laundry can result from using too little detergent over time, washing at low temperatures for extended periods, or using insufficient detergent with hard water. Always use the recommended amount of detergent suitable for your water hardness and laundry load. Using too much detergent can also cause this issue.

Why is my Beko Washer washing performance poor and stains persist?
    • J
      Joann DonaldsonAug 30, 2025
If stains persist, you may not be using enough detergent. Use the recommended amount for your water hardness and load size. Avoid overloading the washer. Ensure you've selected the correct programme and temperature for the items being washed. Also, make sure you're using the right type of detergent and putting it in the correct compartment, avoiding mixing bleach with detergent.

Why does my Beko BFL853ADW Washer have detergent residue in the drawer?
    • M
      Mitchell OconnorSep 1, 2025
Residue in the detergent drawer can occur if you put detergent in a wet drawer; dry the drawer before adding detergent. Damp detergent can also cause this, so keep detergents sealed in a dry place, away from high temperatures. Low water pressure, blocked holes in the detergent compartment, mixing detergent with softener can also cause residue. Clean the drawer with hot water to remove residue. There may also be a problem with the detergent drawer valves.

Why does my Beko Washer have too much foam inside?
    • B
      Brian BaileySep 4, 2025
Excessive foam can be caused by using the wrong type of detergent for washing machines or using too much detergent. Ensure you are using the correct detergent and only a sufficient amount. Improper storage of detergent, such as in a hot or humid place, can also contribute to this issue. Some meshed laundry items like tulle may create excess foam due to their texture, so use less detergent for these items. Also, ensure the detergent is placed in the correct compartment.

Why is my Beko BFL853ADW washing performance poor and clothes smell unpleasantly?
    • D
      David FoxSep 5, 2025
Unpleasant odours in your clothes can happen when bacteria layers form in the drum from consistently washing at low temperatures or using short programmes. To prevent this, leave the detergent drawer and loading door slightly open after each wash to prevent a humid environment that encourages bacteria growth.
