Usage Features
- Loading Laundry: Place items loosely in the drum, ensuring the loading door closes with a locking sound and no items are caught. The door remains locked during a program and opens a few minutes after completion.
- Detergent and Softener Use: Use detergents, softeners, starch, fabric dye, bleach, or limescale removers according to manufacturer instructions and dosage. The detergent drawer has compartments for prewash, main wash, and softener. Liquid detergent cups should be placed in the main wash compartment for liquid detergents.
- Temperature Selection: The maximum temperature for a selected program is displayed, and can be decreased in 10° increments down to a cold wash option.
- Spin Speed Selection: The recommended spin speed is displayed and can be adjusted downwards, offering "Rinse Hold" and "No Spin" options for delicate laundry or draining without spinning.
- Delayed Start: Allows delaying the program start by up to 24 hours in 30-minute increments. Liquid detergents are not recommended with this function due to staining risk.
- Adding/Taking Out Laundry: Laundry can be added or removed during a paused program, provided the water temperature is not too high and the water level is below the door opening.
- Child Lock: Prevents children from tampering with the machine during operation.

Maintenance Features

- Cleaning the Detergent Drawer: Clean regularly (every 4-5 washing cycles) to prevent powder detergent accumulation. This involves removing the siphon piece and washing the drawer and siphon with lukewarm water.
- Cleaning the Loading Door and Drum: Residues can accumulate, causing odors and washing issues. Use the "Drum Cleaning" program (or Cottons-90 with Additional Water/Extra Rinse) every 1-2 months, adding powder anti-limescale (or one tablet) to the main wash compartment. Dry the bellow with a clean cloth after the program. Blocked holes on the bellow can be cleared with a toothpick.
- Cleaning the Body and Control Panel: Wipe with soapy water or mild gel detergents and a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive materials.
- Cleaning the Water Intake Filters: Filters at the end of water intake valves and hoses prevent foreign substances from entering the machine. These should be cleaned when dirty by removing them and brushing under running water.
- Draining Remaining Water and Cleaning the Pump Filter: The pump filter prevents clogging by solid items. It should be cleaned every 3 months or when clogged. Water must be drained first. This involves unplugging the machine, opening the filter cap (potentially in two parts), and draining water into a container by loosening the pump filter (or using an emergency draining hose if available). Clean any residues and fibers around the pump impeller, then reinstall the filter.
