      Laura GarciaDec 1, 2025
If there's detergent residue in the detergent drawer of your Beko Washing machines, it could be due to several reasons: * The detergent is put in a wet drawer: Dry the detergent drawer before putting in detergent. * The detergent has gotten damp: Keep detergents closed in an environment free of humidity and do not expose them to excessive temperatures. * Water pressure is low: Check the water pressure. * The detergent in the main wash compartment got wet while taking in the prewash water, and the holes of the detergent compartment are blocked: Check the holes and clean if they are clogged. * There is a problem with the detergent drawer valves: Call the Authorized Service Agent. * Detergent might be mixed with the softener: Do not mix the softener with detergent. Why won't my Beko Washing machines switch to spinning?
    • J
      Justin RodriguezAug 27, 2025
If your Beko Washing machines doesn't switch to the spinning step, there might be an unbalanced load in the machine. Also, the machine will not spin if water is not drained completely, so check the filter and the draining hose. Finally, excessive foam might have occurred and the automatic foam absorption system might have been activated due to too much detergent usage, so use the recommended amount of detergent.

Why is foam overflowing from the detergent drawer of my Beko WMY 61283 MB3?
    • R
      Rachel ThomasSep 18, 2025
If foam is overflowing from the detergent drawer of your Beko Washing machines, it could be because too much detergent is used. Mix 1 tablespoonful of softener and ½ l of water and pour it into the main wash compartment of the detergent drawer. Also, put detergent into the machine suitable for the programmes and maximum loads indicated in the “Programme and consumption table”. When you use additional chemicals (stain removers, bleachs and etc), reduce the amount of detergent.

Why is my Beko WMY 61283 MB3 laundry stiff after washing?
    • H
      hubbardkennethSep 16, 2025
If laundry became stiff after washing in your Beko Washing machines, using an insufficient amount of detergent for the water hardness can cause the laundry to become stiff in time. Use an appropriate amount of detergent according to the water hardness. Also, if detergent is put in the prewash compartment although the prewash cycle is not selected, the machine can take this detergent during rinsing or the softener step. Put the detergent in the correct compartment. Finally, do not mix the softener with detergent and wash and clean the dispenser with hot water.

Why does too much foam form in my Beko WMY 61283 MB3?
    • H
      Holly BriggsSep 18, 2025
If too much foam forms in your Beko Washing machines, improper detergents for the washing machine are being used, so use detergents appropriate for the washing machine. Also, use only a sufficient amount of detergent, and store detergent in a closed and dry location, not in excessively hot places. Some meshed laundry such as tulle may foam too much because of their texture, so use smaller amounts of detergent for this type of item. Put the detergent in the correct compartment. Finally, if softener is being taken early, there may be a problem in the valves or in the detergent dispenser, so call the Authorized Service Agent.
