Why is foam overflowing from the detergent drawer of my Beko WMY 71283 LMB2 Washer?
    • C
      Christy JohnsonSep 23, 2025
If foam is overflowing from the detergent drawer of your Beko washer, it is likely that too much detergent is being used. Mix 1 tablespoonful of softener and ½ l of water and pour it into the main wash compartment of the detergent drawer. Also, put detergent into the machine suitable for the programmes and maximum loads indicated in the “Programme and consumption table”. Reduce the amount of detergent when you use additional chemicals (stain removers, bleachs and etc).

Why won't my Beko Washer door open?
    • W
      William JonesAug 23, 2025
If the loading door of your Beko washer cannot be opened, it could be because the door lock is activated due to the water level in the machine. Drain the water by running the Pump or Spin programme. The machine might be heating up the water or is at the spinning cycle, so wait until the programme completes. The child lock might be engaged, so wait a couple of minutes for deactivation of the door lock after the programme has ended.

      John WardAug 26, 2025
If your Beko washer isn't filling with water, check if the tap is turned off and turn it on. See if the water inlet hose is bent and flatten it. The water inlet filter may be clogged, so clean the filter. Ensure the loading door is closed properly.

Why is my Beko WMY 71283 LMB2 not switching to the spinning step?
    • T
      tyleraguirreAug 28, 2025
If your Beko washer isn't switching to the spinning step, there might be an unbalanced load in the machine. The automatic unbalanced load detection system might be activated due to the unbalanced distribution of the laundry in the drum. The machine will also not spin if water is not drained completely, so check the filter and the draining hose. Excessive foam might have occurred, activating the automatic foam absorption system due to too much detergent usage, so use the recommended amount of detergent.

Why does my Beko WMY 71283 LMB2 Washer have too much foam?
    • K
      kenneth53Sep 18, 2025
Excessive foam in your Beko washer can be caused by using improper detergents for the washing machine, so use detergents appropriate for the washing machine. An excessive amount of detergent can also cause this, so use only a sufficient amount. The detergent may have been stored under improper conditions, so store detergent in a closed and dry location, not in excessively hot places. Some meshed laundry such as tulle may foam too much because of their texture, so use smaller amounts of detergent for this type of item. Also, make sure that detergent is put in the correct compartment and that softener is not being taken early, as there may be a problem in the valves or in the detergent dispenser. Call the Authorized Service Agent.

What to do if my Beko WMY 71283 LMB2 Washer programme cannot be started or selected?
    • T
      Thomas SandovalSep 15, 2025
If the programme cannot be started or selected on your Beko washing machine, it has likely switched to self protection mode due to a supply problem (line voltage, water pressure, etc.). Press and hold the Start / Pause / Cancel button for 3 seconds to reset the machine to factory settings.

Why is there detergent residue in the drawer of my Beko Washer?
    • W
      William BurtonSep 16, 2025
Detergent residue in the detergent drawer of your Beko washer can occur if the detergent is put in a wet drawer, so dry the detergent drawer before putting in detergent. The detergent may have gotten damp, so keep detergents closed in an environment free of humidity and do not expose them to excessive temperatures. Low water pressure can also cause this, so check the water pressure. The holes of the detergent compartment may be blocked, so check the holes and clean if they are clogged. In some cases there may be a problem with the detergent drawer valves, so call the Authorized Service Agent. Also, make sure that detergent is not mixed with the softener and that regular drum cleaning is applied.

How to fix gray laundry after washing in my Beko Washer?
    • A
      Angela DavisSep 6, 2025
If your laundry turns gray after washing in your Beko washer, it may be caused by using an insufficient amount of detergent over a long period. Use the recommended amount of detergent appropriate for water hardness and the laundry. Washing at low temperatures for a long time can also cause this. Select the proper temperature for the laundry. Also, too much detergent can cause graying.

Why is my Beko Washer directly discharging the water it takes in?
    • K
      Kyle CarterSep 4, 2025
If your Beko washer is directly discharging the water it takes in, the draining hose might not be at an adequate height. Connect the water draining hose as described in the operation manual.
