Operatio
n
T
he AFB24-MFT, AFX24-MFT actuator provides 95° of rotation and is provided with a
g
raduated position indicator showin
g
0° to 95°. The actuator will synchronize the 0°
mechanical sto
p
or the
p
h
y
sical dam
p
er or valve mechanical sto
p
and use this
p
oint
for its zero position durin
g
normal control operations. A unique manual override allows
the setting o
f
any actuator position within its 95° o
f
rotation with no power applied.

he actuator uses a brushless DC motor which is controlled by an Application Specific

and anti-rotation bracket. A crank arm and several

brackets are available for damper applications where the actuator cannot be

irect coupled to the damper sha

t. The sprin

return system provides minimum

pecified torque to the application durin
