Filling up must be done with the engine switch off in an open and well-
ventilated environment.
▪ Always remember that petrol fumes are highly flammable.
▪ DO NOT USE OPEN FLAMES NEAR THE MOUTH OF THE TANK TO CHECK THE LEVEL, AND
DO NOT SMOKE WHEN FILLING UP.
1. Lift the seat and the door of the engine compartment (Fig 31).
2. Loosen the petrol tank cap.
3. Use a funnel to fill up. Do not fill the tank up completely to prevent fuel overflowing
(Fig 32).
4. Tighten the petrol tank cap well after filling up.
Keep the petrol in a container designed for the purpose and with a cap properly
tightened.
OIL:
The machine is shipped without lubricating oil in the engine.
Irreparable damage to the engine: Add the appropriate amount of oil
before starting the engine.
The engine manual indicates what type of oil and fuel you can use.
