TRANSPORTING WITHOUT MOWING
This machine has not been approved for use on public roads. It must be
used (as indicated by the highway code) in private areas closed to trafc.
When transporting the machine:
1. Start the engine.
2. Sit in the driver's seat.
3. Move the engine throttle lever as required (Fig 39 Part 4)
Increase the number of engine revs (if it is too low).
4. Release the parking brake by pressing the brake / clutch pedal (Fig 37 Part 1).
5. Slowly release the brake clutch pedal to start forward movement of the machine.
6. Use the fastest gear 4” on the drive and speed change engagement lever only for
moving from one place to another and with the blade disengaged (Fig 39 Part 3).
STOPPING
1. Press the brake / clutch pedal (Fig 37 Part 1) to stop the machine.
MOWING IN REVERSE
Be very careful when reversing. Never change direction of movement
without rst stopping the machine.
When the mower is stationary or engaged move forward, the reverse gear is
completely blocked. When the mower is engaged in reverse mowing, the reverse gear
can be released with the release lever.
1. Brake the machine from froward mowing to a standstill by depressing the brake /
clutch pedal (Fig 38 Part 1).
2. Shift the drive and speed change engagement lever (Fig 39 Part 2) to neutral “N” (Fig
42 Part 3).
