Recommended Wire Splices
The Bendix
®
standard warranty is void if correct wire
splicing practices are not followed. Refer to Example A (see
Figures 14 and 15) and Example B (see Figures 16 and
17) for correct wire splicing techniques. Example A is the
preferred method to connect wires inside the cab when
splicing into the wiring harness.
NOTE Splicing examples A and B are only for in-cab
applications. Wire splices for under the hood applications
require specic environmental connectors not shown
here. Butt crimp connectors without shrink tubing are not
recommended. See Figure 18.
