- Ventilate the tent thoroughly at night. People use a lot of oxygen, converting it to vapour and CO2 gas that needs to

- If possible, all cooking apparatus should be used outside the tent. All fuel-based camping apparatus should be lit out-

tergents should be avoided unless the tent is very dirty. If it is necessary to use detergents, the mildest type should be
used. Enzyme-based agents may harm the external canvas and should be avoided.
