e Bergans Teepee is easily assembled. Nonetheless, we recommend that you do a test assembly of the tent prior to
use. is will provide you with useful experience as it is oen dark when you pitch your tent!
Assembly Instructions for Bergans 6040/41/42 Teepee:
- Unfold the tent and lay it out with the external side uppermost.
- Stretch it out using pegs in the small peg loops at the boom of the vertical walls. (Fig.1) e tent should now be
octagonal.
- Assemble the centre pole.
- Entering from the tent opening, insert the top of the pole into the point cap (Fig. 2) and fasten the ventilation cap.
- Centre the boom of the tent pole on the tent oor.
- Pull out and fasten the long, adjustable peg loops. (Fig. 3)
Assembly using the tent oor (Optional accessories):
- Place the optional oor on the ground.
- Stretch it out using pegs in all the loops to make it taunt.
- Unfold the tent and lay it out with the external side uppermost. Fasten the small tent peg loops to the same pegs that
secure the oor. (Fig. 4)
- Assemble the centre pole.
- Entering from the tent opening, insert the top of the pole into the point cap (Fig. 2) and fasten the ventilation cap.
- Centre the boom of the tent pole on the tent oor.
- Pull out and fasten the long, adjustable peg loops. (Fig. 3)
- e Teepee has ample fasteners for rope guys, and it is important to use these to stabilise the tent in bad weather.
