SETTING INSTRUCTIONS:
(Note: A crown clip may be on setting crown - please carefully remove.)
1 Gently and carefully pull crown out to stop second hand. (fig 1) Do not over-pull the
crown out.
(Note: If crown is already in the out position, with second hand stopped, go to step 2.)
2 Turn crown clock-wise or counter clock-wise, moving hour and minute hands, to set
to the desired time. (fig 2)
3 Push crown in to re-start second hand. (fig 3)
DUAL ILLUMINATION SYSTEM:
The Electroluminescent backlight feature will illuminate the dial, in no light
conditions, with a touch of a button. The entire dial will illuminate with a soft blue light
when the button is pushed, while still providing a high contrast viewing in normal light
conditions. The ambient light powered Swiss super luminous hands & markers will glow
continuously in lower light conditions, with no need to use the battery powered
light. The Swiss super luminous system and time keeping will continue to function if
battery is depleted. (Note: Timing, and light have independent batteries.)
REMOVING BAND LUG BAR:
The A-2SEL is equipped with removable band retention lugs bars. This permits use of
either a 1 or 2 piece type bands. The lugs can be removed using two 2 mm hex / allen
wrenches to loosen and remove lug bars in order to install a 2 piece band. Hold one
hex head stable with wrench and turn the opposite end hex head counter-clockwise, and
then pull out to remove, insert bars in band and re-install. A jeweler can do this band
installation as well. For installation of 1 piece band, lug bars do not need to be removed.
