FUNCTION - Placing batteries
1. Turn the cover (2) to the right to open the battery-housing (3).
2. Place the batteries (4 x AA) in the proper manner.
3. Turn the cover to the left to close the battery-housing.
FUNCTION - Grinding
Press the grinding button (1) to grind the preferred amount of spices. The bottom light wil illuminate
simultaneously.
• The coarseness of the spices can be adjusted with the ‘screw’ in the bottom. Turn it to the right for a
finer grind, turn it to the left for a coarser grind
• Do not fill the container (4) to more than 75% of its capacity.
• Peppercorns are harder than salt. When grinding pepper grains, the device can work less quickly.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly with a dry cloth.
• Don’t use any aggressive cleansers.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
• Close the mill with the protective lid (7) when the appliance is not in use.
