What to do if the Status LED on my betteries Docking Station lights up red?
    • J
      John WoodsAug 20, 2025
If the Status LED on your betteries Docking Station lights up red, it indicates that the battery management system of one or more betterPacks is reporting an issue. First, turn off the system, wait at least one minute, and then turn it on again. If the Status LED remains red, send the affected betterPacks back to the manufacturer for troubleshooting and repair.

    • M
      Maria WrightAug 22, 2025
If the Power LED on your betteries Docking Station lights up yellow, it means the system is operating beyond the recommended ratio. If this continues for an extended period, the betterPacks will shut down safely. To resolve this, disconnect the appliance, stack another betterPack, and then reconnect the appliance.

Why does the Status LED light up yellow on my betteries betterGen Docking Station?
    • X
      xmartinezAug 25, 2025
If the Status LED on your betteries Docking Station lights up yellow, it could be due to a couple of reasons. One possibility is that the temperature of one or more betterPacks has reached 42°C. In this case, let the betterPacks cool down to 40°C or below. If you continue using the betterPacks, they will shut down at 45°C. Another reason could be that betterPacks with different charging levels are being used, in which case only the betterPack with the higher charging level will operate. Always use betterPacks with the same charging level, or charge the betterPack with the lower charging level first before using multiple betterPacks.

Why is the first state-of-charge LED lighting up red on my betteries Docking Station?
    • J
      John NelsonAug 26, 2025
If the first state-of-charge LED lights up red on your betteries Docking Station, it indicates that the state of charge of one or more betterPacks is very low. Charge the betterPacks as soon as possible. If you continue using the betterPacks, they will shut down to prevent deep discharge.

Why does the status LED light up red and the betterGen stop charging betterPacks on my betteries Docking Station?
    • N
      Nathan NicholsAug 27, 2025
If the status LED lights up red and the betterGen stops charging the stacked betterPacks, it means that betterPacks with different charging levels are stacked and one of them is fully charged. To resolve this, turn off the betterGen, remove the stacked betterPacks, stack them one at a time, and turn on the betterGen to observe the state of charge of each betterPack. Only stack the betterPack that is not fully charged, then turn the betterGen back on to start charging the stacked betterPack.

What to do if my connected appliance turns off unexpectedly with betteries betterGen Docking Station?
    • E
      Erik CherryAug 29, 2025
If the connected appliance turns off unexpectedly while using the betteries Docking Station, it indicates that the fuse of the betterGen was triggered. To fix this, disconnect the appliance from the betterGen, open the cover for the fuse, flip the fuse switch back up, plug the appliance back into the betterGen, and turn the appliance on again. If the issue persists, contact the manufacturer for repair.

What to do if all status LEDs light up yellow and the system cannot be turned off on betteries betterGen?
    • P
      paulwhiteheadSep 1, 2025
If, after turning the system on, all status LEDs of the available betterPacks light up yellow and the system cannot be turned off, it means the initialisation failed and the system is staying in idle mode. To resolve this, press the On/Off button for a few seconds to force the system to turn off. Then, try again to turn on the system by pressing the On/Off button on the betterGen. If the system is still not working correctly, contact the manufacturer to have it repaired.

What to do if betteries betterGen is on but the connected appliance doesn't work?
    • R
      robert53Sep 3, 2025
If the betterGen is turned on but the connected appliance does not work, it could be due to a couple of reasons. It's possible that the connected appliance or parts of it are damaged, in which case you should turn off the betterGen, disconnect the appliance, and send the appliance to the manufacturer for repair. Another possibility is that the appliance is plugged into the wrong socket. Turn off the betterGen, disconnect the appliance, and always use the lower socket for inductive loads, such as those required for power tools.

Why the betteries betterGen Docking Station cannot be moved?
    • T
      Tara HaleySep 5, 2025
If the betterGen cannot be moved to another location, it's likely that one or more tires are damaged or have lost air. Check if the tire pressure is correct (the recommended tire pressure is 2.1 bar). Also, check if there is any damage to the tires. If there is damage, replace the affected tires.
