German trade associations, noise pollution e.g. in
the workplace mu not exceed 85 dB (room
volume level) during a maximum permissible
liening time of 8 hours. If the volume level is
increased by 3 dB respectively, the permissible
liening time is cut in half, i.e. at 88 dB, the
liening time is 4 hours, at 91 dB 2 hours, etc.
• When using in-ear headphones, it is impoant to
clean the eaips, as they quickly become diy
and increase the risk of ear infection due to an
increased number of germs in the ear. Since the
in-ear devices isolate the ear canal, a warm and
humid “climate” is created in the ear increasing
the multiplication of germs.
• Keep small pas such as product, packaging and
accessories away from children and pets.
Accidental ingeion may cause suocation.
• The beyerdynamic MIY App allows you to
personalise your Bluetooth® headphones. The
App’s tracking function allows to use the
Bluetooth® headphones so that the headphones
will not exceed a maximum of acouic impact
(“noise”) that is calculated from common, general
findings. Please note that the Bluetooth® head-
phones and the MIY App can only regier noise
impact that is created by the headphones them-
selves; other, external sources of noise such as
conruction noise, conces, etc. can of course
not be considered in the calculation of acouic
impact. Therefore, the Bluetooth® headphone and
the MIY App do not oer a summary of the entire
exposure of your hearing. The MIY App only
displays the acouic load that is wirelessly trans-
mitted via the Bluetooth® headphone and allows
to limit it to acceptable levels.
