What to do if the BHM Medical Equipment lift buttons don't work?
    • C
      Cody AdkinsAug 13, 2025
If the up or down buttons on the lift aren't working, first check if the emergency stop button is pressed down. If it is, turn the button clockwise to release it. Also, ensure the lift is plugged in to charge the battery, and check the light on the control box. If the light remains red after plugging it in, leave it plugged in for about 2 hours. If problems persist, it may be a motor or electric issue, and you should contact your BHM Medical representative.

Why does my BHM Medical Equipment start and stop?
    • H
      hansenkristenAug 16, 2025
If your unit starts and stops repetitively, it could be due to the load exceeding the safe working limit, which triggers an overload protection on the motor, or the battery may be low. If that is the case, recharge the battery.

If the unit doesn't respond to the handset buttons, first ensure the handset is correctly plugged into the unit. If it still doesn't work, try using the control switches directly on the unit. If the control switches work, the issue lies with the handset, and it will need to be replaced.
