4. Use
POSITIONING AND STARTING
Follow the following precautions when positioning the appliance:
• Put the appliance on a horizontal surface.
• Put the appliance so that it is protected against overheating.
• Plug the power cord into the power socket.
Warnings:
Electric shock hazard in case of use of the
appliance with damaged power cord. Nev-
er start the appliance with damaged power
cord.
Warnings:
Filter blades are very sharp, to prevent in-
jury, handle them with extreme care during
the cleaning phase.
Even when not in use, unplug the appliance before mounting or re-
moving the single parts or before cleaning.
SLOW JUICER ASSEMBLY
• Place the bowl (3) on the motor unit, by aligning the three notches on
the motor unit with the slots on the bowl (Fig. B).
• Assemble the pulp filter (9) by inserting it into the rotating brush (6).
• Insert the assembled filter into the bowl, by aligning the two reference
marks on the filter and on the bowl (right side of the juice spout), Fig. C.
• Position the squeezing screw (7) in the middle of the bowl and press
(Fig. D).
• Assemble the hopper (1) on the bowl (3), making sure the two reference
marks on both elements are aligned (Fig. E).
• Rotate the hopper (1) clockwise to lock it and align the arrow on the
hopper with the reference closed lock ” ” on the motor unit (5), Fig. E.
Before proceeding with squeezing, make sure appliance is properly
assembled and the filter is not damaged and properly positioned.
