Disconnect the unit from the power source before proceeding with the fan replacement.
Safely detach the Nexia unit from its mounting location if it is installed in a rack or enclosure.
Locate and unscrew the three #4 sheet metal screws securing the front panel of the chassis.
Identify and remove the four #4 sheet metal screws on the back side of the Nexia chassis.
Unfasten the two #4 sheet metal screws located on both the left and right sides of the chassis.
Carefully lift off and set aside the top panel of the Nexia unit.
Detach the existing fan by unscrewing the four #6 screws that secure it.
Disconnect the fan's 2-conductor wire from the main board, noting its orientation, and then remove the fan.
Mount the new fan with the four #6 screws, ensuring the opening is clear and screws are not over-tightened.
Connect the new fan's wire to the main board, confirming correct polarity and orientation.
Reattach the top cover and secure it with the #4 sheet metal screws in the reverse order of removal.
Re-mount the unit, restore power, and verify the fan operates normally and quietly.
