Intended use
ASTM CATEGORY 2
Cyclo-cross, gravel, cross-bike and trekking bicycles including their e-Bike Pedelec versions. Intended for use on
surfaces indicated in category 1 (artificially paved surfaces such as paved roads and cycle paths) as well
as roads covered with gravel, sand or similar materials (e.g. forest roads, dirt roads, paved hiking trails with
a low quantity of roots). The wheels are constantly in contact with the ground, or only lose contact with it
for brief moments due to unevenness of the ground. Jumps not exceeding 15 cm (6 inches) are permitted.
Frame and fork
The ARCADEX frame and fork are made entirely of carbon fibre, designed and engineered to Bianchi engineers’ specifications to give
the frame maximum sportiness, stiffness and lightness.
The housing for cables and sheaths is entirely inside the frame.
The frame is compatible with the integrated AREOFLARE carbon handlebar.
The bottom bracket adopts the Press-Fit 86.5x41mm standard.
The frame is compatible with 27.2mm diameter seatposts.
The head tube is made to accommodate specific bearings both of 1.5”
Frame and fork adopt M12 thru-axles for wheel mounting.
The maximum assemblable tyre section is 50mm. *
The frame is has standard M5 inserts for assembly of bottle cages/or accessories.
The frame is NOT compatible with front derailleurs. (1X only). The minimum chain line is 45.5mm.
The weight of the ARCADEX frame in the medium size (55) is 1100g ± 5%.
ARCADEX frames are NOT approved according to UCI standards.
