supply. It has no generator.
Follow General Directions for Hand-Driven Types, page 1,
except
that
instead
of
operating
generator,
connect
supply
cord
to
voltage
and
frequency
shown
on
instruction
label.
The
accuracy
of
the
reading
is
unaffected
by
the
exact
value
of
the
supply
voltage—within
+20%.
The
reading
may
be
affected
momentarily
by
large
and
sudden
changes
in
supply
voltage,
particularly at the upper end of the scale.
