Some
instruments
have
a
constant
voltage
generator
in
place
of
a
slip
clutch.
These
instruments
should
also
be
cranked
at
approximately
160
rpm.
Many
older
superseded
instruments
had
variable
voltage
generators.
In
these
instruments
the
output

varied
with
cranking
speed.
