  If the UP switch is selected and the motor runs, but your Bil-Jax Lifting System won't lift a load, the issue could be due to several reasons. First, make sure the load on the platform is 500 lbs or less. Second, check the voltage at the N.O. valve; if there's no voltage, inspect for loose or broken wires; if there is voltage, ensure it's at least 9 volts for the start solenoid to operate, and check the battery and start solenoid, repairing or replacing as needed. Also, verify that the emergency lowering valve is closed. Finally, the mast sections might be dirty, so clean and lubricate them with dry silicone.

  If the green WHEEL UP/BASE SET button on your Bil-Jax Lifting System won't light, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the base is firmly set on the footpads by depressing the WHEEL UP/BASE SET button to raise the front casters. This allows the lift to firmly set on the footpads. Also, check the incoming power line for low voltage. If the bulb is burned out, replace it. Make sure that the lift is level by using the two adjusting foot pads or by relocating the lift to a level surface. Finally, inspect for any broken or loose wires and repair or replace them as necessary.
