Why BILT HARD Portable Generator engine will not start?

Your BILT HARD Portable Generator might not start due to several reasons: * There's no fuel: add fuel. * The spark plug is faulty: clean and adjust or replace it. * The oil level is low: fill the crankcase to the proper level. * The generator isn't on a level surface: place it on a flat, level surface. * The spark plug wire is loose: attach the wire to the spark plug. * The fuel valve is closed: open the fuel valve. * The fuel knob Start dial is OFF: turn Fuel knob Start dial to CHOKE. * The fuel is old or contains water: drain and replace with fresh fuel. * The engine is flooded: let the unit stand for 10 minutes.
