The manual provides step-by-step instructions with diagrams for connecting cart frames, attaching panels, installing casters, mounting doors and handles, securing the tank heat shield, placing the grill body, attaching side tables, installing the side burner control panel, and assembling the grease collecting tray and cup. Power tools should not be used unless explicitly stated, and fasteners should not be fully tightened until all parts are in place to prevent misalignment.
  • LP Gas Cylinder Installation: The LP cylinder must be stored outdoors, out of reach of children, and not in a building, garage, shed, breezeway, or any enclosed space. It should always sit in an upright position. The installation must conform to local codes or national standards (National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1, etc.).
  • Leak Test: A leak test must be performed prior to each use and after assembly to ensure all gas connections are tight. A soap solution (one part liquid detergent, one part water) is applied to connections, and bubbles indicate a leak. The test should never be performed with an open flame or while smoking.
  • Lighting Instructions (Main Burner and Side Burner):
    1. Read instructions before lighting.
    2. Open the lid.
    3. Ensure all control knobs are in the "OFF" position.
    4. Turn ON the gas valve from the source or tank.
    5. Push and turn any main burner or side burner control knob to "HI" and immediately press and hold the electronic ignition button.
    6. If ignition does not occur within 5 seconds, turn the knob off, wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate, and repeat the procedure.
    7. Repeat for each burner individually.
    8. To turn burners off, turn control knobs clockwise to the "OFF" position.
  • Match Holder Lighting: In case of igniter failure, a lighted match on the match holder can be used to light the burner.
  • Safety Warnings:
    • Prop 65 Warning: Product may expose users to chemicals including benzene, known to cause cancer and birth defects.
    • Do NOT operate in a building, garage, or any other enclosed area.
    • Do NOT install on or in boats or recreational vehicles.
    • Use OUTDOORS in a well-ventilated space.
    • Maintain minimum clearances from combustible materials.
    • Do NOT obstruct combustion/ventilation airflow.
    • Do NOT leave unattended or use under the influence of drugs/alcohol.
    • Keep fuel supply hose away from heated surfaces.
    • Allow grill to cool before moving/storing.
    • Household use only; not for heating.
    • Never use natural gas in an LP unit.
    • Do NOT store a spare LP gas cylinder under or near the appliance.
    • Never fill the cylinder beyond 80% capacity.

    • Side burner lid must be open when in operation.
    • Have a type BC or ABC fire extinguisher available when cooking with oil/grease.
    • Do NOT attempt to extinguish oil/grease fires with water; call the fire department.

    • Do NOT move the appliance when in use; allow cooling to 115°F (45°C) before moving.
    • Not intended as a heater.
    • Turn off gas supply and knobs BEFORE cleaning burners.
    • For LP cylinder filling, use qualified dealers and ensure the cylinder has a Type 1 valve and OPD.

Maintenance Features:

  • General Cleaning: Conduct periodically, especially at the start of the season. Keep the cooking area clear of combustible materials. Do not obstruct airflow.
  • Steel Surfaces: Use mild stainless steel cleaners and scrub in the direction of the grain. For scratches, use 100 grit emery paper. Remove baked-on grease with an abrasive pad and cleaner.
  • Grease Cup: Empty and wipe down periodically. Wash with mild detergent and warm water. Check frequently to prevent overflow.
  • Grill Burners:
    • Clean burner tubes before assembly and at least once a month in late summer/early fall to prevent spider webs/insect nests, which can cause flashback fires.
    • Inspect burners at least once a year or if flames appear yellow, the grill doesn't reach temperature, heats unevenly, or makes popping noises.
    • Burner Cleaning Procedure: Turn off gas, ensure knobs are OFF, wait for grill to cool, open lid, remove cooking grate and heat distribution plate, remove cotter pin, lift burner out of firebox. Clean exterior with a brass brush and use a metal scraper for stubborn stains. Clear clogged ports with a straightened paper clip (never a wooden toothpick).
    • Main Burner Replacement: Remove flame tamers, burner cotter pin, and burner from the grill body.
    • Reinstalling Main Burners: Insert burner into burner valve, firmly seat valve connector into burner tube (straight), position main burner onto burner support, and reinstall burner fixing pin.
    • Side Burner Replacement: Open side burner lid, remove side burner grate, remove burner fixing nut, and remove burner.
    • Proper Burner Installation: Firmly seat the valve orifice into the burner tube, ensuring it's inserted STRAIGHT. Improper installation can lead to yellow flames, excessive noise, lifting, or flashback.
