Biological reactor for wastewater treatment and peripherals
Preamble
For the purpose of interpreting the present:
The word ˝client˝ is intended to identify the person who either has originally acquired a BIONEST®
treatment system or inherited a BIONEST® treatment system through the purchase of a property;
˝Successors˝ is intended as any other person entitled to exercise the client’s rights;
˝BIONEST® system˝ is intended to identify the ZENITH
TM
biological reactor unit.
Nature of the warranty
In Quebec, the BIONEST® treatment chain has been certied by the Bureau de normalisation du
Québec (BNQ) following strict testing, as prescribed by the NQ 3680-910 standard and by the
certication protocol NQ 3680-915. These tests assess the BIONEST® technology under various
operating conditions, namely winter and summer temperature variations as well as ow variations
similar to those observed of an average Quebec family dynamics.
You have purchased a robust and reliable technology, which will be with you as long as you own
your house. When used and maintained according to the manufacturer’s manual, the BIONEST®
technology will last a very long time while helping you preserve the environment. In order to
ensure the sustainability of all types of biological domestic wastewater treatment systems,
it is important to understand that the following ve (5) conditions are to be performed in a
professional manner.
• The design be made by a competent and recognized Engineer/Technologist for proper soil
characterization and a good understanding of the BIONEST® technology.
• The parts, components and tanks be Bionest authorized suppliers and/or assembled according
to recognized quality criteria and facilities which are audited by the BNQ.
• The installation be performed by a Bionest authorized installer, owner of a RBQ licence under
sub-category 2.4, who attends Bionest’s annual training seminars. This contractor can supply
good quality work and select materials according to good practices and standards, for proper
functioning and sustainability of your septic installation, as well as a legal protection against
execution defects and/or aws.
• The use of the BIONEST® system be in accordance with the owner’s manual.
• Ensure annual maintenance by a trained Bionest authorized technician who can properly
perform maintenance activities as well as assess the condition of the treatment chain and
properly identify its condition throughout the system’s useful lifespan.
Warranties on the hereinafter listed BIONEST® reactor and peripherals are applicable provided an
annual maintenance of the BIONEST® system is performed by Bionest duly authorized technicians
or a qualied Bionest recognized third party.
In no case, Bionest will be held responsible for accessory, compensatory, indirect, special or
other damages. Bionest global responsibility associated with a defective product will, in all
cases, be limited to replacement of said defective product. Such limitations are applicable
independently of the basis of the claim or the petition in court. Bionest reserves the right to use
