HOW TO:
Measure Room Dimensions:
1.) Use the “SET” key to set the datum to measure
from the “bottom” of the instrument.
2.) Tip the sonic transmitter to the forward (bent)
position.
3.) Move slide switch to distance measurement
position (far right).
4.) Turn the instrument on using the switch on the
rear.
5.) Place the unit against a wall - point at a clear
unobstructed opposite wall.
6.) Press either “read” button on the sides of the unit.
7.) The dimension will be displayed.
8.) Repeat for the opposite wall.
9.) To calculate area, press “X” after the first
measurement and “=” after the second.
