Cluttered areas and benches can cause accidents.
Do not expose the tool to rain or wet conditions. Keep the work area well lit.
Do not allow children, visitors, or animals to come near the work area or touch the tool.
Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Wear protective hair covering to keep long hair out of the way.
Always use safety glasses. Use a face or dust mask and hearing protection when needed.
Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not operate the tool when you are tired.
Use clamps or a vice to hold the workpiece for safety and free hands.
Always check that adjusting keys and wrenches are removed from the tool before operating.
Use the correct tool for the job. Do not force small tools to do the job of a heavy-duty tool.
Never attempt to open. Do not expose to water or store above 40°C. Charge between 4°C and 40°C.
Never look directly into the light beam.
Do not touch the bulb shortly after using the flashlight, as the bulb may be hot.
Use only the appropriate type of replacement bulbs.
To fit, line up and push battery. To remove, push release button and pull battery out.
To switch the tool on, press the on/off switch (1). To switch off, press the on/off switch again.
Before maintenance, remove the battery. Unplug the charger before cleaning.
Do not touch the bulb shortly after using the flashlight, as the bulb may be hot.
Remove the battery before replacing the bulb.
Remove the bulb holder (5) by turning counterclockwise.
Remove the bulb (6) by turning it slightly and pulling it out of the bulb fitting.
Insert a new bulb into the fitting.
Re-fit the bulb holder by turning clockwise.
Black & Decker provides a facility for recycling products and rechargeable batteries.
At end of life, discard batteries with care. Run battery down completely, then remove it.
Submit proof of purchase to the seller or an authorised repair agent to claim on the guarantee.
