Fitting a Router Bit

Remove chip reflector, depress spindle lock, loosen collet, insert bit, tighten collet.

Fitting the Edge Guide

Fit bars to edge guide, insert into base, set distance, tighten screws.

Fitting the Dust Extraction Adaptor

Connect vacuum cleaner hose to the adaptor.

Fitting the Template Guide

Fit template guide to base, insert screws from bottom, secure with nuts.

Fitting the Distance Piece

Fit distance piece to router base using provided screws.

Fitting the Centring Pin

Fit centring pin to workpiece side of bars, tighten with knob.

Fit edge guide, attach 'L' bar, adjust rotating attachment.

Operation

Adjusting the Depth of Cut

Set depth by distance X between depth stop bar and depth stop.

Adjusting Depth of Cut Using Scale

Loosen screw, pull lever, plunge bit to workpiece, push lever, set pointer to zero, add depth.

Adjusting Depth of Cut Using Wood

Place wood of desired depth between stops, tighten screw, fine adjust.

Adjusting Revolver Depth Stop

Adjust revolver depth stop for multiple cuts with different depths.

Setting the Speed

Set speed control knob to required speed. High for small bits, low for large bits.

Using a Batten as a Guide

Use straight-edged wood as batten to guide tool when edge guide is not suitable.

Using the Template Guide

Secure template, ensure router bit extends below guide flange to cut shape.

Using the Distance Piece

Use for trimming wooden or laminate vertical projections.

Using the Centring Pin

Use to cut circular patterns. Drill hole for pin, place router, adjust radius.
