  If your Black & Decker Snow Blower doesn’t run when you activate the bail handle, first check that the safety key is fully installed and seated, and that you're fully depressing the button on the switch housing before pulling the bail handle. If it still doesn't work, release the bail handle to turn the snow thrower off, remove the safety key and battery pack. Then, check that the auger is free to turn, the battery cavity is free of debris and properly connected, and that the battery has been fully charged.

Ensure the auger is free to turn and the battery cavity is clear of debris and properly connected. Check if the battery has been fully charged. Also, move the charger and battery pack to a location where the surrounding air temperature is above 40 degrees F (4,5°C) or below 105 degrees F (+40,5°C). To prevent this, avoid overloading the snow thrower and slow down your working pace.
