Seatpost Installation Instructions
INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your Black Inc product. Please review thoroughly the following instructions and only
follow them for correct operation and use. Should you fail to follow the following instructions and
warnings, this could result in damage of the product, damage to the bicycle and in severe situations
cause possible injury and or death.
Since specific tools and bicycle service experience is required for proper assembly installation, it is
recommended that the product be assembled by a qualified bicycle mechanic. Black Inc assumes no
responsibility for damages or injury due to improper assembly and installation of the product(s).
WARRANTY
All of Black Inc products are free of defects from materials and manufacturing defects for a period of
two years starting from the original purchase date unless otherwise stated on our warranty policy
detailed on our website at www.blackinc.cc.
This warranty is non-transferable and only applicable for the original customer which purchased this
product only. Any modification of the product other than for its original intended use such as drilling,
sanding, painting and etc. will effectively and immediately void the warranty.

BLACK INC CARBON FIBER ROAD SEATPOST 25 MM OFFSET (27.2 MM)
BEFORE INSTALLATION OF SEATPOST
1. Please measure with a measurement tool such as a caliper to ensure the inner diameter of the frame
is compatible and within tolerance with the Black Inc Carbon Fiber Road Seatpost which measures;
General Guidelines for seat tubes that are compatible with seatpost.
- 27.2 mm (+0.15/-0)
2. All Black Inc Carbon Seatposts are supplied with two types of saddle rail clamps which;
-7x7 round rail clamps for standard alloy/steel saddle rails.
-7x9 oval rail clamps for carbon fiber saddle rails.
Each type of rail clamps are indicated on the product with a laser etched engraving.
WARNING! Please ensure that the correct saddle rail clamps are used as this could lead to incorrect
assembly possibly leading to slippage causing possible injury, damage to the bicycle and or rider and
even severe cases death.
WARNING! Do not go above the maximum torque labeled on the seatpost nor on the frame. Please
check the seatpost regularly for movement or slippage before every ride to ensure safe operation and
regular function. If in doubt, please contact an experienced bicycle technician to ensure safe bicycle
operation and usage.

Tighten the frame's seatpost clamp once height and position are set.

Shimano Di2 Battery Installation

Optional: Install Shimano Di2 battery using provided holders and connect Di2 wire.

Post-Installation Safety Checks

Regularly inspect for damage/cracks, especially after crashes, for safety.
