(Original instructions)
Use
Note: Before using for the first time, hand wash all the
removable parts.
• Initially, the element may smoke a little. This may smell a
bit, but it's nothing to worry about. Ensure the room is
well ventilated.
• Add oil to the food as a coating only.
Warning! Never pour oil into the basket (1).
• Sit the appliance on a stable, level, heat resistant
surface.
Note: the basket MUST be put into the appliance properly,
otherwise the appliance doesn’t work!
• Plug the mains cord and plug into the earthed wall
socket.
Warning! Do not fill the pan with oil or any other liquid.
Warning! Do not put anything on top of the appliance.
Warning! Do not put anything on the air-inlet on the rear of
the appliance, this disrupts the airflow and affects the
cooking result.
How to use
The air fryer can prepare a large range of ingredients. Refer
to the section “settings” table.
Automatic switch-off
AF600-B5 will switch off automatically after 30min if it is not
operated.
Before first use
1. Remove all packaging material.
2. Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.
3. Thoroughly clean the basket and the pan with hot water,
some washing-up liquid and a non-abrasive sponge.
Note: You can also clean these parts in the dishwasher.
4. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a
moist cloth. This is an air fryer that works on hot air.
Do not fill the pan with oil or frying fat.
Preparing for use
1. Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal and level
surface. Do not place the appliance on non-heat
resistant surfaces.
2. Place the basket in the pan properly.
3. Pull the mains cord out of the cord storage compartment
in the bottom of the appliance.
Do not fill the pan with oil or any other liquid.
Do not put anything on top of the appliance. This disrupts
the airflow and affects the hot air frying result.
Preheating
1. Put the mains plug in an earthed wall socket.
2. Press the power on/off button to switch on the appliance
3. Press the temperature increase or decrease button to set
the required temperature
Note: Press the increase or decrease button longer to put the
temperature forward or backward more quickly
4. Press the time decrease button until the display
shown “- -”
5. Press the START/STOP button to start preheat program,
the set temperature is flashing
6. The appliance beeps and resume to setting interface until
the set temperature has been reached.
Hot air frying
1. Put the mains plug in an earthed wall socket
2. Press the power on/off button to switch on the appliance
• The display shows the last selected Temperature & Time
3. Press the temperature increase or decrease button to set
the required temperature
• Press the increase or decrease button longer to put the
temperature forward or backward more quickly
4. Press the timer increase or decrease button to set the
timer to the required cooking time
• Press the increase or decrease button longer to put the
temperature forward or backward more quickly
5. Press the START/STOP button to start the cooking
process
• The display starts counting down the set cooking time.
• When the appliance starts to beep, the set cooking time
has elapsed
Favorite button
You can program the appliance to prepare your favourite
ingredients at a specific temperature for a specific length of
time.
Note: The appliance can only memorise one temperature
and one cooking time.
To set your favourite settings (AF600-B5)
1. Press the power on/off button to switch on the appliance.
2. Press the favorite button (star symbol) (5.2)
• The display shows the current saved settings
• The star symbol starts flashing
3. Press the temperature increase or decrease button to set
the desired temperature
4. Press the timer increase or decrease button to set the
desired time
5. Press the favorite button to save.(star symbol) (5.2)
• You hear a beep and the star symbol lights up
continuously to indicate that the settings have been
saved.
