It is recommended that steam be used when choosing a medium or high iron temperature.
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF FUNCTION
The iron automatically switches off when it remains still. If it is positioned on the soleplate, the iron
automatically turns off after 30 seconds. When placed in an upright position, it will turn off after 15
minutes. Control lights will start flashing.
To continue ironing, move the iron until the control lights stop flashing.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Never immerse the iron or the steam station in water. Make sure that the iron and the station have
cooled down. Wipe the body of the iron and the station with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe until they
are dry. The soleplate should be wiped with a soft cloth.
Replacement of the water filter:
The anti-scale system requires regular replacement of the water filter. The filter is available as a spare
part, Blaupunkt ACC005. It has to be replaced when the filter replacement indicator (1b) starts
flashing.
NOTE: The device cannot be used without the water filter installed. If the water filter has to be replaced,
the steam station can be used only by refilling it with distilled water. The replacement of the water
filter should be immediate.
In order to replace the filter:
1. Take out the water tank.
2. Pull the filter up by using the ring pin.
3. Dry the water filter socket with a paper towel.
4. Place new water filter in the socket.
5. Put the water tank in the steam station.
6. Reset the meter of the water filter replacement: when filter replacement indicator blinks (1b),
hold the switch (1e) for about 5 seconds. The meter will be reset and the indicator will stop
blinking.
