It temporarily switches over to an EON
linked station when EON detects a
traffic announcement on the other
program.
If the volume level was below the
threshold point, it is raised to the
threshold point. If the current volume
level is higher than the threshold point
(min. TA volume level), it will be set to
the last level.
TA interruption function
The current traffic announcement is
cancelled by pressing this key.
But the TA mode is not switched off.
The RDS data used are the PI, PS, AF,
TP, TA, EON and PTY data.
PI: Program Identification code
Code for identifying programs
PS: Program Service Name
Broadcast station name data
expressed as alphanumeric
characters
AF: Alternative Frequencies
Frequency list of broadcasting
stations transmitting the same
program
TP: Traffic Program identification
Identification data for stations
broadcasting traffic information
TA: Traffic Announcement identification
Identification data showing traffic
information is being transmitted or
not
EON: Enhanced Other Networks
information

BASIC INFORMATION
This car sound system can be used to play
MP3 or WMA files on USB data carriers
and SD(HC)/MMC memory cards.
Notes:
Blaupunkt cannot guarantee the
flawless function of all USB data
carriers and memory cards available on
the market.
Note the following information when
preparing an MP3/WMA data carrier:
Naming of tracks and directories:
Max. 32 characters without the file
extension ".mp3" or ".wma" (the use
of more characters reduces the
number of tracks and folders that the
car sound system can recognize)
No umlauts or special characters
USB format/file system: Mass storage
device /FAT16/32
Memory card file system: FAT16/32
File extension of audio files:
.MP3 for MP3 files
.WMA for WMA files
WMA files only without Digital Rights
Management (DRM) and created with
Windows Media Player version 8 or
later
MP3 ID3 tags: Version 1 and 2
Bitrate for creating audio files:
MP3: 32 to 320 kbps
WMA: 64 to 192 kbps
Maximum number of files and
directories: Up to 20,000 entries
depending on the data structure
