1. Before you start using it
• Please make sure to read the instruction manual carefully.
• Following and respecting the instructions in your manual for use will prevennt damage to your instrument
and loss of your statutory rights arising from defects due to incorrect use. We shall not be liable for any
damage occuring as a result of not following these instructions.
• Likewise, we take no responsibility for any incorrect readings and for any consequences which may result
from them.
• Please take particular note of the safety advice!
• Please keep this instruction manual for future reference.
2. For your safety
• It should only be used as described within these instructions.
• Unauthorised repairs, modifications or changes to the product are prohibited.
• The product is not be used for medical purpose or public information.
3. Caution ! Risk of injury.
• Keep this instrument and its battery out of the reach of children.
• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken a part or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage
caused by a leaking.
4. Important information on product safety!
• Do not place your product near extreme temperatures, vibration or shock.
• Protect from moisture.
5. Getting started
• Remove the protective foil from the display.
• Open the battery compartment (see marking) and remove the insulation strip.
• Close the battery compartment again.
• All LCD segments will light up for about a few seconds. The instrument is ready for use.
6. Temperature indication
• Slide the °C/°F switch at the backside to change the temperature unit.
7. Max / Min values
• Press Max/Min button and MAX appears on the display.
• The highest indoor temperature and humidity are displayed since the last reset.
• Press the button again and MIN appears on the display.
• The lowest indoor temperature and humidity are displayed since the last reset.
• To go back to the present values, press the button once more. The instrument will automatically quit the
MAX/MIN mode if no button is pressed.
• Press RESET button while the highest or lowest temperature and humidity are displayed to clear the
recorded values. --.-- °C and --.--% appear on the display.
8. Installation
• The thermo-hygrometer can be mounted on a wall with a nail or a screw or use the fold-out stand.
• Avoid radiators and direct sunshine.
9. Care and maintenance
• Clean your instrument with a soft damp cloth.
• Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Remove the battery if you do not use if for a long period time.
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.
