Operation
In the Blue Lagoon UV-C Timer, a UV-C radiation with a wavelength of 253.7 nm is generated by the special Philips UV lamp, ensuring a lethal
eect on bacteria (including Legionella bacteria). The Blue Lagoon UV-C Timer will ensure that your pool water is clean, fresh and clear in an
ecient and environmentally-friendly manner. The water is led through the UV-C device via a pump. The UV-C radiation neutralises bacteria,
viruses and other primitive organisms and stops them from multiplying. The amalgam lamp is not aected by changes in the temperature of
the water, and has a constant, powerful radiation output of 50 Watt UV-C. Amalgam UV-C is recognized as the strongest UV-C light that can
be obtained in the UV-C market. The Blue Lagoon UV-C Timer has a built-in high-frequency electronic ballast, which absorbs current
uctuations, thereby protecting the lamp. In addition, the device contains an integrated time meter that accurately monitors the number of
operating hours. You can therefore see exactly when the lamp must be replaced. In addition, the stainless steel interior ensures the reection
of the UV-C rays, thereby increasing the eciency up to 35%. Thanks to the Blue Lagoon UV-C Timer, your swimming pool water will be
disinfected eciently and safely, and the quality of your water will remain excellent. Fitted with universal connectors. The device can be

Safety

- Always remove the plug from the socket before carrying out any maintenance or repair work on the unit. Never insert the plug / pull the
plug from the socket when you are standing in water or if your hands are wet.
- Never submerge this device in water.
- Never install the unit in an area subject to full sunlight.
- Keep children away from this device and from the cable.
- The cable of the device cannot be replaced. The complete electrical unit must be replaced if there is any damage to the power cable. Never
