- Fluid Level Monitoring: Users can determine if the model requires refilling by observing the ultrasound image; an optimally filled vessel appears anechoic (black echo-free lumen), while a low fluid level or air within the vessel will show as hyperechoic (bright white) areas or air within the lumen.
- Cleaning: After each use, the training model can be easily cleaned with mild soapy water (one part liquid soap to one part tap water). The model should be gently rinsed to remove debris and then dried with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth using a dabbing motion to avoid scuffing the simulated tissue.
