Why is my Blue Seal Dishwasher not washing properly?

  If your Blue Seal Dishwasher isn't washing dishes well enough, it could be due to several reasons. You might not be using enough detergent, or the detergent concentration might be off; in this case, top up the detergent in the canister and check its concentration. The water might not be hot enough, so wait until the tank water reaches 50°C. Ensure the washing phase is happening correctly. The washing filter, nozzles, or rod could be dirty or clogged; clean the filter, demount and clean the washing nozzles and rod under running water. Also, the nozzles might be incorrectly positioned or damaged; make sure they're correctly positioned and replace any damaged ones.

  If your Blue Seal Dishwasher isn't filling with water, the water cock might be shut. Turn it on. The fill pipe filter might be dirty; detach the fill pipe and clean the filter. The mains pressure could be too low (less than 200 kPa); wait for the pressure to return or purchase a pressure pump.

  If your Blue Seal Dishwasher isn't rinsing properly, the rinsing nozzles might be clogged. Unscrew and clean the nozzles under running water.
