Run dispense
to test guide
position
Adjust guides width and height
Place plate so dispenser tips are centered above wells
(in y-direction, perpendicular to plate movement)
Nudge both guides so they are approx. 0.5mm
away from plate sides - guides should not touch
plate when plate is already centered
Move plate back and forth to ensure it is not
rubbing against guides; only when plate is off-
center, guides should gently nudge the plate into a
central position
Re-adjust height of
guides if guide is
too close to carrier
