Overview

The BlueDri ONE33 is a 3-speed centrifugal air mover designed for various drying and ventilation tasks. It is a robust and versatile device, suitable for both professional and domestic use, with features that prioritize safety, efficiency, and ease of use.

Function Description:

The primary function of the BlueDri ONE33 is to move air efficiently, facilitating drying processes and improving ventilation in various environments. It is particularly effective for drying furniture, walls, and ceilings after cleaning or water damage. The device offers three speed settings, allowing users to adjust the airflow according to the specific requirements of the task. Its centrifugal design ensures powerful and directed airflow, making it ideal for targeted drying. The air mover can be positioned at different angles (flat, 45 degrees, and 90 degrees) to optimize airflow for different surfaces, such as drying furniture at a 45-degree angle or walls and ceilings at a 90-degree angle.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Certifications: C-ETL-US, indicating compliance with North American safety standards.
  • Motor Rating: 0.33 HP, providing sufficient power for effective air movement.
  • Power: 115 V, 60 Hz, suitable for standard North American electrical outlets.
  • Current: 2.0/2.5/3.3 amps, varying with the selected speed setting.
  • Weight: 28 Lbs, making it relatively portable for its class.
  • Dimensions: 17.3"W x 16"L x 18"H, a compact size for storage and deployment.
  • Power Cord Length: 25', offering a good reach without immediate need for an extension cord.
  • Speeds: 3, providing flexibility in airflow control.
  • Unit Assembly Components: The device consists of an inlet grill (2), plastic cover, fan wheel, fan housing, motor, inlet grill (2), connector, power cord, circuit breaker, switch box, GFCI, switch, switch label, and switch knob.

Usage Features:

  • Plug-and-Play Operation: Simply plug the air mover into a standard grounded outlet with the correct voltage and amperage.
  • Angle Adjustments: The unit can be positioned flat, at a 45-degree angle (ideal for drying furniture), or at a 90-degree angle (ideal for walls and ceilings) to direct airflow precisely.
  • GFCI Protection: Equipped with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) duplex outlet, which promotes operator safety in wet applications. The GFCI trips when a fault to electrical ground is sensed, and it can be tested and reset. This outlet also allows for the inter-connection of other AC-powered devices, provided the total amperage does not exceed 8.7 amps.
  • Circuit Breaker: A 12-amp breaker is included as a safety feature. If an appliance draws more amperage than allowed, the breaker will trip. It can be reset by unplugging the appliance causing the trip and pushing the Reset Button adjacent to the outlets.
  • Safety Instructions: The manual emphasizes critical safety precautions, including not using the fan in areas with flammable liquids/vapors, ensuring tight plug fit, unplugging before servicing or moving, using only GFCI-protected receptacles, and ensuring the correct voltage (120V AC). It also warns against using extension cords, power strips, or routing cords under rugs or furniture.
  • Environmental Considerations: The device is not suitable for use in agricultural facilities or hazardous locations as per NEC Article 547-7 (2008) and NEC Article 500 (2008) requirements.

Maintenance Features:

  • Unplug Before Maintenance: Always unplug the cord before moving, servicing, or cleaning the unit to prevent electrical shock.
  • Cleaning: The fan should be cleaned only with a vacuum equipped with a brush attachment to remove lint and dirt from inside. The body can be cleaned with a soft cloth. It is crucial to avoid using alcohol or solvents like gasoline, benzene, or paint thinner, as these can damage the unit.
  • Lubrication: The motor is permanently lubricated, eliminating the need for periodic lubrication.
  • Storage: Store the fan in its original carton in a cool, dry place with the instructions.
  • Troubleshooting Guide: The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting section for common issues such as the unit not running (check power, switch, cord), loud scraping noise (check for damaged blower wheel or housing), excessive vibration (check for bent motor shaft or damaged blade), and blower wheel not turning (check motor bearings, obstructions, or excessive duct length).
  • Warranty: BlueDri offers a limited warranty:
    • 1-Year Coverage: Covers parts and labor for defects in material and workmanship for one year from the original purchase. This excludes wear items (power cords, transport wheels, castors, handle grips, filters, screens, brushes, carbon brushes) and damage caused by accident, misuse, negligence, fire, or unauthorized service/repair.
    • 5-Year Coverage: Covers parts and labor on rotationally molded polyethylene tanks/housings and injection-molded vacuum head assemblies for defects in materials and workmanship for ten years from the original purchase.
  • Disposal: Corrugated packaging materials are recyclable. For environmentally responsible disposal, users are advised to contact their local waste service provider or visit www.1800recycling.com®.
