Securing motorcycle for transportation
Use masking tape or soft cloths suitably positioned to prevent scratching the parts of
the motorcycle.
ATTENTION
Vehicle toppling to side
Risk of damage to parts if vehicle topples
Make sure that the vehicle is secured so that it cannot topple
sideways.
Push the motorcycle onto the transportation flat and hold it in position:

Trapping of components
Component damage
Do not trap components such as brake lines or cable legs.
At the front, secure the straps to the bottom fork bridge on both sides and
tighten the straps
At the rear, secure and tighten the tensioning straps to the holders for rear
footrests on both sides.
The suspension has to be firmly compressed for the motorcycle to be
transported.
Uniformly tighten all the ratchet straps
Note: do not place vehicle on the side stand during transit.
