BMW M54 - HOUSING COVER; REMOVING AND INSTALLING LOWER TIMING CASE COVER (M52; S52; M52 TU; M54)

In area of joint, apply approx. 3 mm of Drei Bond 1209 sealing compound (refer to BMW Parts Service)
Assemble engine.
Check engine for leaks.

11 14 110 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LOWER TIMING CASE COVER (M52 / S52 / M52TU /
M54)
Remove VANOS adjustment unit. Refer to 11 36 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING
DOUBLE VANOS ADJUSTMENT UNIT (M52TU / M54 / M56).
Remove coolant thermostat. Refer to
11 53 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING
