Mode Behavior of hybrid system
"HYBRID" The vehicle is moved in hy-
brid mode, i.e., it is driven by
a combination of combustion
engine and electric motor.
"ELECTRIC" The vehicle is driven exclu-
sively by electric power.
"eCONTROL" The high-voltage battery
charge is maintained and
saved for a later time.

Charging the vehicle
The high-voltage battery of the vehicle can be
charged via the charging socket at charging
stations or domestic socket outlets.
Regular and complete charging of the high-
voltage battery reduces the fuel consumption
by using electric energy.

Climate control while parking and
charging
The hybrid system makes it possible to oper-
ate the automatic climate control prior to start
of the trip and with the combustion engine
switched off.
During vehicle charging or if the high-voltage
battery is sufficiently charged, the car's interior
can be can be cooled or heated in advance of
the trip.
The pre-conditioning can also be switched on
directly.
