Put the vehicle into operation
If the vehicle battery is discharged, the com-
bustion engine can be started using the bat-
tery of another vehicle and two jumper cables.

Service life of high-voltage
battery
General information
The performance of the high-voltage battery
decreases over its service life. The service life
of the high-voltage battery can be optimized
by how it is used.
Long stationary periods
Keeping the vehicle stationary for longer peri-
ods can reduce the charge state of the high-
voltage battery.
To optimize the service life of the high-voltage
battery, note the following:

Do not park the vehicle for longer than
14 days if the electric range is exhausted.
