REPLACEMENT
OF
ENGINE
OIL AND FILTER
Replace
the
engine oil and
filter
after
every
50
hours
of
loader
operation.

To
replace engine oil and
filter:
1.
Operate
the
engine
for
about
15
minutes.
Stop
the
engine.
2.
Remove
the
oil plug (Fig.
50,
Item
2).
Remove all
the
oil
from
the
engine.
3.
Remove
the
oil
filter
(Fig.
51,
Item
1).
4.
Clean
the
filter
housing
surface. Put clean oil on
the
gasket
of
the
new
filter.
Install
the
filter
and
tighten
the
filter
hand
tight.
5.
Install
the
oil plug. Remove
the
oil
filler
cap
(Fig.
51,
Item
2).
Put
9
quarts
(8,5l)
of
oil in
the
engine (See
the
Oil Chart).
Start
the
engine and
let
it
run
for
about
5
minutes.
Check
for
leaks
at
the
filter.
Check
the
oil and add oil
until
the
oil level is
at
the
FULL
mark
on
the
dipstick.
NOTE:
DO
NOT overfill the crankcase.
COOLANT
LEVER
The
cooling
system
has a
coolant
recovery
tank.
The
location
of
the
tank
is on
the
right
upright
in
the
engine
compartment
(Fig.
52,
Item
1).
Check
the
coolant
level.
When
the
engine is cool,
the
coolant
recovery
tank
must
be
1/3
full.
Add
coolant
to
the
coolant
recovery
tank
when
the
coolant
level is
low.
