AIR CONDITIONING BELT (CONT’D)
Belt Replacement
Stop the engine and open the rear door.
Remove bolt (3) [Figure 19] holding harness clamp.
Remove nuts (1) and remove belt shield (2) [Figure 19].
Loosen the mounting nut (1) [Figure 20] at bottom of
compressor.
Loosen the adjustment nut (1) [Figure 21] at top of
compressor.
Move the air conditioning compressor toward the front of
the machine to loosen the belt.
Remove the belt from the pulleys and inspect the pulleys
for wear. Replace as needed.
Install new air conditioning belt.
Adjust the belt. (See Belt Adjustment on Page 13.)
Close the rear door before operating the loader.
