BOC's integral valve cylinders are simple, ready-to-use, lightweight packages requiring no additional equipment.
Highlights key features of BOC cylinders, including carry handles, gauges, and connection types.
Ensure hands are clean and free from alcohol before handling cylinders. Check cylinders for oil, grease, or damage.
Verify cylinder label, expiry date, and gauge. Remove tamper-evident cover and open valve outlet cover.
Connect demand valve with a new filter to the Schrader outlet. Turn cylinder on slowly and check for leaks.
Instruct patient on valve use, inhale for 2 mins. Use scavenging, monitor patient condition, and check gauge.
Remove demand valve, turn cylinder off, vent residual gas, disconnect probe, and replace outlet cover.
Do not use near flames, store securely, ensure clear signage, separate cylinders, and prohibit smoking.
Use trolleys for transport, cylinder supports, set up before use, avoid placing on beds, and do not use oil/grease.
Use appropriate cleaning materials. Do not refill or tamper with the cylinder package.
