4 INSTALLING AND CONNECTING THE FIREPLACE
- Plan for the gas intake on the right of the appliance.
- Clean the gas flues before connecting the appliance.
- Place the appliance in the ventilated alcove.
- Connect the chimney flue to the outside of the fireplace (“ONTOP” or “POUJOLAT” flue).
Attention: the temperatures of the outer surfaces of the chimney flue can reach
200°C.
Consequently, do not use any combustible material near the chimney flue
without using suitable protection.
AVOID CLOSED SPACES ALONG THE FLUE (FALSE CEILING, ETC.)
WHICH WOULD CREATE DANGEROUS HEAT BUILD-UP.
- Open the door with the tool (remove it when the fireplace is in use).
